Our specialist sustainability teacher works with students to teach them about sustaining biodiversity. 

These lessons are very practical, resulting in the planting and maintenance of our native Japanese style garden, local species plant-outs, the pond, the fruit orchard and the veggie beds. 

Every class has responsibility for a part of the school garden so that they can put into practise what they have learnt during sustainability lessons. Some of our senior students are also part of a sustainability leaders group where they ensure that gardens and whole school projects such as composting, are looked after.
