Weekly Values Awards

These are presented to students at each assembly. Students can achieve these by demonstrating one or all of our RIBA values of Respect, Integrity, Belonging and Achievement. A student can be chosen by their classroom teacher or classroom peers, or by other staff around the school. Each Values Award earned adds 1 House Points to the Values Award Trophy total for their team

End of Year Values Awards

Each year in term 4, students in each year level are nominated by staff to be awarded the End of Year Value Award. These students are selected due to their commitment in demonstrating the school values of Respect, Integrity, Belonging and Achievement throughout the entire year in all aspects of school. A student in each year level is selected as the End of Year Value Award Recipient. All students nominated receive a certificate and the Award recipient receives a trophy and their name is etched on the school perpetual plaque displayed in the office area. These are announced and presented to the student at the end of year assembly.

Jill Walters Trophy

Each year, during sports day, the student who best demonstrates particpation, persistence, getting along, and good sportsmanship is awarded with an individual trophy and their name is etched on the perpetual trophy kept in the front office.

Principal’s Enterprise Sustainability Award

For each Enterprise Day held a group of students is chosen and awarded the Principal’s Enterprise Sustainability Award. The stall or activity is chosen for being the most sustainable initiative during the day.

The students must present their stall/activity to the Principal and detail how their stall is continuing to address sustainability. The group must also have a poster next to their stall which addresses the way in which their stall is demonstrating sustainable practices.
