About our School
Para Hills West Primary School caters for
Reception - Year 7 and is where students have the opportunity to learn in a Montessori
and
Mainstream learning environment. The school
was established in 1965 and is situated approximately 14 kilometres north of Adelaide.
The school is comprised of individual
air-conditioned classrooms linked by an administration block. Specialist rooms are available for L.O.T.E. (Japanese), Music,
Information and Technology. The school has a Resource Centre with
interactive whiteboard providing a great facility for resource based learning. A separate room, the Recreation Room is used for
Physical Education, assemblies, drama and community services. It has extensive grassed areas and ramps are provided
in the yard.
A Montessori
pre school and Montessori
playgroup is also available on site.
